Milk Barn LLC is a leading agricultural solutions provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, specializing in innovative dairy farm equipment and services. They are seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to learn the trade and assist with installing and servicing milking equipment on local dairy farms.

Responsibilities

Serving as a training technician until graduated to full technician status

Communicate internally with the service manager and service team to keep them updated on project status, workflow, etc

Help install both new and used milking equipment on dairy farms

Perform day-to-day service calls on local dairy farms

Perform scheduled maintenance on local dairy farms

Help to diagnose equipment issues and provide a solution to the customer

Opportunity to learn new technician modules including:

Refrigeration

PLC’s

Conventional milking systems

Robotic milking systems

Automation

Plumbing

Electrical

Control wiring
