Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep
BBSI is partnering with a well-established wholesale distribution company in Southern California to hire an Inside Sales & Customer Service professional. This role supports both customer service and sales functions, acting as a key point of contact for customers while assisting the sales team with order processing, account support, and relationship management.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service via inbound phone calls, email, and in-person interactions
Accurately process and manage customer orders using SAP
Support key accounts and general customers with day-to-day needs
Coordinate returns, credits, and invoice inquiries with internal departments
Assist with new customer onboarding and ongoing account support
Serve as backup for sales representatives during absences, including order placement and customer follow-up
Conduct follow-ups with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business
Support sales efforts by engaging customers and promoting available products
Take product photos and assist with product-related office tasks
Qualification
Required
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Intermediate Excel skills required (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Preferred
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or customer service experience in wholesale grocery or distribution preferred
Experience using SAP preferred
