X, The Moonshot Factory is seeking an MBA intern for their 2026 Summer program. The role involves developing data-driven pricing frameworks, conducting market analysis, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance understanding of customer value and financial impacts.

Responsibilities

Develop data-driven pricing frameworks that align with customer value realization rather than just cost-plus models
Conduct competitive benchmarking and research on emerging AI monetization trends (e.g., token-based pricing vs. seat-based)
Build sensitivity models to forecast revenue and margin impact based on different pricing levers
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to understand the cost of goods sold (COGS) and 'willingness to pay' (WTP)

Required

Currently pursuing an MBA (please do not apply if you have already graduated)
2+ years of professional experience in hardtech, software, manufacturing, finance, venture capital (and/or CVC), or management consulting
Exceptional ability to write strategy documents and deliver presentations that simplify complex ideas
Self-directed and able to drive multiple workstreams to completion in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Transactional experience (VC, PE, M&A)
Experience with AI & ML
Experience working with geospatial data, or in / across risk transfer sectors
Experience with financial modeling
Ability to influence without authority
