Responsibilities

Member of the Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Planning group, reporting into the Manager of Infrastructure
Build, operate, manage, and improve upon the core service provider network. This including transit, WAN, LAN, remote access, a fully functional lab, peering, change control, network automation, AAA, hardware, firmware, logging, services, inside plant engineering, intra and inter datacenter fail-over, core and edge security, backbone, and firewalls

Required

Be a US citizen or possess a US Green Card
If hybrid, a quiet and secure workspace with a minimum of 2 good quality Internet connections, from which to complete WLC tasks and responsibilities using WLC-provided equipment while not in the office
Three, or greater, years of Fortinet routing, switching, firewall, and access point experience, in an engineering role, within Service Provider and/or Data Center environments
Three, or greater, years of Cisco routing, switching, firewall, and access point experience, in an engineering role, within Service Provider and/or Data Center environments
Fluent with advanced Fortinet (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiToken, and FortiAuth platforms) and Cisco (IOS, Nessus, FirePower, and ASA platforms) configurations, monitoring, alerting, management, and troubleshooting
Confident managing inside plant power, cables, interconnects, racks, cabinets, horizontal and vertical layouts, assets, etc. related to network infrastructure
Deep configuration, functionality, and troubleshooting knowledge of multi-chassis multi-location HA/fail-over techniques
Complete confidence in service provider and datacenter routing and switching, which includes ALL of the following: BGP, EIGRP, VRF import/export, QinQ, MPBGP inter-AS VPN A B C AB, ACLs, VLANs, HSRP, and OSPF
Understanding and familiarity of AAA management, monitoring functions, systems backups, and change management methods
Expert in building, managing, configuring, and maintaining development, lab, pre-production, and production infrastructure, such as but not limited to firmware, separation of traffic, network and/or traffic isolation, and centralized logging
Ability to develop and maintain compliance for ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI standards and certification requirements

Preferred

High level Fortinet (NSE 4-8 or equivalent) and CCNP/CCIE (or equivalent) certifications and/or experience is highly desired
