Responsibilities
Design and develop back-end services and APIs using JVM languages, primarily Java and Kotlin
Build and maintain microservices architectures that integrate seamlessly with external platforms
Develop and optimize REST APIs and data integrations with Google BigQuery and GCP services
Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Ensure systems are secure, high-performing, and maintainable through best practices in code and documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed back-end systems
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Kotlin and SpringBoot
Deep knowledge of API development and RESTful services
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery
Knowledge of distributed systems and modern back-end frameworks
Preferred
Experience with Apache Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
Proficiency in Scala and Python
Understanding of NoSQL and data modeling for large-scale analytics
