Responsibilities

Provide leadership to both an operational team and an engineering team, ensuring clarity of priorities and cohesive execution
Drive technical direction and engineering practices that support reliability and long-term architectural alignment
Provide leadership across the SRE function by coordinating with internal SRE partners and augmenting SRE capabilities through a partner-supported delivery model
Lead operational readiness, governance, and service execution
Own the strategic relationship and operational partnership for Under Armour’s primary observability platform
Champion service availability, resiliency, and performance
Lead incident response and long-term corrective action
Oversee execution across engineering and operational commitments
Act as the senior operational point of contact for a primary vendor partner
Provide coaching and technical guidance across contributors
Lead vendor and partner execution
Serve as the connector between engineering, product, security, and business
Identify opportunities for automation and improved observability
Drive long-term operational and engineering maturity improvements

Required

8–10+ years across engineering operations, SRE, platform engineering, or similar fields
Demonstrated leadership of engineering and operational teams
Strong background in observability, automation, and incident management
Serves as the enterprise Datadog product owner and internal champion, setting observability standards, driving adoption, defining the roadmap, and managing the vendor partnership
Demonstrated experience leading MSP-based delivery teams, including SOW and contract governance, capacity planning, KPI/SLA management, and vendor performance oversight
