Start in 2026 SummerSeagate Technology is seeking a curious and motivated intern to join their Firmware Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in embedded systems development and exposure to AI/ML applications in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing and testing embedded firmware features
Support internal projects that explore AI/ML techniques for diagnostics and workflow optimization
Help analyze telemetry and performance data to improve firmware reliability
Collaborate with engineers to understand firmware architecture and development processes
Qualification
Required
Experience with Python or ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Basic understanding of storage systems or hardware interfaces
Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly
Strong knowledge and experience with C/C++ and Python programming
Exposure to embedded systems concepts through coursework or projects
Interest in AI/ML and its applications in engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
