They are seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Tech to process samples for testing, maintain documentation, and communicate inspection results effectively within the QA department and other manufacturing departments.

Responsibilities

Processing of samples for dimensional and/or metallurgical testing as follows: Forging metallurgical inspection
Forging dimensional inspection
Machining dimensional inspection
Final Audit Inspection (Forging and Machining)
Data entry (Final Audit, etc.)
Ensure accurate documentation completion as required
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Effectively communicates with Manufacturing and other departments as required regarding inspection results
Effectively communicates within the QA department
Assists with G.R&R studies and density maps
Provides support to Manufacturing, and other departments as requested
As directed by the Quality Group Leader or Quality Manager

Qualification

Measuring devicesBasic GD&T knowledgeBasic metallurgyMicrosoft OfficeHigh School Diploma

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
Basic GD&T knowledge
Measuring devices (CMM, optical comparator, other handheld measuring devices)
Basic metallurgy
