Utility Technician

Responsibilities
General HKE
Clean/Sanitize Process Vessels
Perform drum/pail fills when necessary
Perform packaging/label inventories
Act as a fill in for filling/milling/shipping departments
Loading recycling trailers
Pull and Stage raw materials for premix/remove all dunnage/recycling
Operate PET bottle palletizer as required
Operator a forklift
Follows fire safety procedures and regulations
May operate heavy cleaning equipment such as scrubbing machines, high-speed buffers, or wet and dry vacuum
Identifies cleaning problems and determines appropriate remedies
Performs related work as required and other duties as assigned
Must be able to work overtime as required with or without reasonable accommodation
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Duties:
Inspects and maintains site-generated hazardous waste satellite and 90 day areas to ensure compliance with EPA standards and in accordance with provided training
Ensures proper management and labeling of containers
Assists the transfer of site-generated hazardous waste to on-site staging areas
Receives annual hazardous waste training and universal waste training
Qualification
Required
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred
Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc
Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
Have at least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, operations function or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Engineering function
