Responsibilities
In laboratory, performs routine laboratory procedures and set-ups of analytical equipment, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Operates equipment to perform established testing procedures in accordance with SOPs
Assists in chemical or biological analyses
Prepares standard solution reagents, media, and related materials to use in testing
Reports to Laboratory Supervisor III
Qualification
Required
College Junior or Senior science or engineering major, with at least three courses in chemistry, including a laboratory
General understanding of laboratory procedures
Ability to perform careful laboratory manipulations
Good communication skills
Time frame: May to September
