Responsibilities

Work with product team leadership to develop and maintain analysis plans (A-Plan) with timing to appropriately support product content changes of each build phase for all assigned electrification programs
Initiate analysis request forms (ARF) for all planned work
Identify, acquire, and balance analysis resources to meet A-Plan requirements, walk-up work, and capability development. Negotiate timing for active analysis projects as necessary
Generate and maintain virtual design reviews and analysis performance metric results for each A-Plan
Support the development of budget and headcount targets with workload projections
Act as single point contact for basic propulsion system architecture / program specific data for the New Products Engineering team
Coordinate cross-functional teams within the department to solve break-fix, product performance, and quality issues; inform Vertical Team and Analysis Staff of current status
Balance workload and resources working with other propulsion VPIM
Interface with vehicle VPIM to co-ordinate 2-way deliverables and resolve propulsion related program issues
Assist with harmonizing process across engine, transmission and electrification sectors

Required

Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering required
5 years of Engineering experience with propulsion-related systems, particularly in Rechargeable Energy Storage Systems
Experience with coordination and leading projects
High level of oral and written communication skills
High level of relational skills to work independently and effectively with others

Preferred

Masters Degree in Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering preferred
Experience applying CAE tools to propulsion-related systems
Experience in Rechargeable Energy Storage System analysis
Broad experience in CFD, Structural & System level analysis techniques
High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
Understanding of engineering theory for mechanical, thermal and hydraulic problems
