Responsibilities

Produce tailored pre-travel threat assessments based on the client’s profile, visibility, itinerary, and duty-of-care considerations
Assess and summarize relevant risks (e.g., targeted harassment/threats, protest activity, crime patterns, operational disruption, event-related risk)
Provide actionable recommendations (ground transportation posture, lodging considerations, appearance/event considerations, communications and contingency guidance)
Deliver rapid turn briefs when travel schedules shift or conditions change
Conduct structured research and develop written content that supports threat and vulnerability assessments (T&VA) and related client deliverables
Build threat landscape summaries and risk narratives aligned to the nonprofit’s mission, footprint, public exposure, and leadership profile
Identify credible threat indicators and produce clear, leadership-ready language suitable for inclusion in formal assessments and briefings
Support the project lead with draft sections, edits, and refinement to ensure deliverables are concise, defensible, and consistent in tone and structure
Conduct OSINT and relevant open-source research using lawful, ethical methods
Evaluate source reliability, information credibility, and confidence; distinguish signal from noise
Maintain organized notes and sourcing so findings are traceable and can be updated as conditions evolve
Communicate clearly with Kingswood leadership and project teams; provide verbal briefings when requested

Required

5+ years of professional intelligence analysis experience (protective intelligence, threat analysis, travel risk, corporate security intelligence, law enforcement intelligence, military intelligence, or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to produce client-ready analytic products (executive summaries, threat assessments, travel threat briefs) that include practical recommendations
Strong analytic tradecraft: credibility evaluation, structured thinking, risk prioritization, and clear articulation of judgment under time pressure
Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex threat information into concise, decision-ready guidance
Working familiarity with U.S. and U.K. operating environments, plus the ability to conduct credible travel threat assessments for Europe (EU) and South America, sufficient to support leader-facing recommendations

Preferred

Experience supporting high-visibility principals (executives, public figures, religious leaders, or similarly exposed roles)
Experience with faith-based organizations and an understanding of the unique threat realities facing religious leaders and communities
Strong briefing presence and comfort communicating to senior leadership audiences
Familiarity with structured assessment methods and converting threats/vulnerabilities/impacts/likelihood into prioritized mitigation actions
