Renterra is a Series A–backed SaaS company modernizing the equipment rental industry. They are seeking a Solutions Engineer to own and evolve internal tools and automation workflows to enhance productivity across teams.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain internal tools and internal tooling platforms

Build and improve customer data onboarding workflows, including hands-on data entry, validation, cleaning, and transformation

Build automation to reduce manual work and improve reliability across internal processes

Apply AI tools to internal workflows where they add real value

Partner with Customer Success and Engineering to understand workflows and pain points

Maintain clear documentation for internal tools and processes

Qualification

Required

2–5 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent), including DevOps or platform engineering backgrounds

Strong sense of ownership across implementation and ongoing maintenance

Experience building or maintaining internal tools, automation, or CI/CD pipelines

Comfort working directly with messy, real-world data (onboarding, validation, cleaning, transformation)

Strong automation mindset and experience improving reliability through pipelines and tooling

Practical experience using AI in workflows or internal tools

Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and working through ambiguity

Proficiency with data analysis, validation, and transformation (e.g. complex formulas, pivots, imports/exports)

Preferred

Experience building or implementing internal tooling platforms

Background in B2B SaaS or data-heavy industries

Familiarity with customer onboarding or implementation workflows

Experience working in early-stage or fast-growing startups
