Operations Controller
Legrand, North America is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. They are seeking an Operations Controller to manage operations accounting, cost accounting oversight, and financial analysis for the LBS division, while partnering closely with operations leadership to drive productivity and financial performance.

Responsibilities
Partner with Operations leadership to monitor and control costs, address negative trends, and drive productivity
Support s and directs efforts for operations finance surrounding monthly close, financial reporting, variance analysis, and account reconciliation s
Oversee cost accounting processes including standard cost maintenance, cost rolls, inventory valuation, and analysis
Coordinate capital expenditure tracking, approvals, and system accuracy
Lead development of annual budgets and forecasts, including materials, labor, overhead, and plant-level financial planning
Provide financial analysis related to manufacturing performance, sourcing, logistics , operational improvements , and evaluating impacts and scenarios of international trade, including tariffs
Ensure compliance with internal controls and drive process improvements across operations finance
Assists VP Finance with budget and ad-hoc projects
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting or Finance
CMA or CPA desired
Minimum 10 years professional experience
At least 5 years in Finance and accounting management (i.e., controller, assistant controller, finance/accounting manager)
5+ years manufacturing experience required
Strong financial control background
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Good judgment
Well developed business ethics
Integrity and consultancy skills
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an intense, deadline-driven environment
Strong, visible leader able to instill confidence in the financial organization and among various leaders
Ability to manage, develop, train, motivate, and manage staff on a day-to-day basis
Ability to establish goals and provide performance feedback per Legrand performance management process
Ability to provide the right balance of guidance/support and autonomy, based upon employees' level of skills, knowledge and competence
