KIP Summer 2026 - External Affairs Intern - Media Research Center
Stand Together is a non-profit organization offering the Koch Internship Program, which provides meaningful work experience at partner organizations. The External Affairs Intern will support coalition relations, outreach, and event planning efforts at the Media Research Center, working closely with the External Affairs team.

Assist with outreach to conservative coalition partners and allied organizations
Support weekly newsletter creation and distribution
Help organize and plan events
Update and maintain contact databases and lists
Conduct research to support External Affairs initiatives
Coordinate logistics and communications across departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Geographically located within the U.S
Authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Available every other Thursday from 1-3:30 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Available for the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Passionate about conservative values
Strong time management and communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in political science, government affairs, public relations, or a related field
Preferred
Interested in current events and the conservative movement
