Law Practice
Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding client service to both internal and external clients
Create/revise documents using MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PDF software (Adobe Acrobat and Kofax Power PDF Advanced)
Learn and apply firm styles and formatting in Word
Compare ('redline') documents using Litera Compare
Assist with application and template testing, overflow work and special projects as needed
Review documents for typos, grammar and sense
Review documents against master files for discrepancies in content
Review documents for formatting inconsistencies/appearance
Mark up Word and PDF files to indicate any corrections or comments
Enter productivity data into department tracker
Arrange appointments and meetings (including virtual platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams)
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree is required
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Must be a professional, proactive and energetic team player
Exceptionally well organized and detail oriented
Ability to learn, retain and apply protocols and best practices to various project types
Ability to manage multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment
Capable of acting with a sense of urgency when necessary; willing to work occasional overtime
Ability to cultivate and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues
