$30K/yr - $30K/yrMilton Academy seeks Teaching Fellows starting the summer of 2026 to participate in the Independent School Teaching Residency master’s program in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. The program enables aspiring and early-career teachers to complete a two-year teaching fellowship while receiving a master’s degree in education.
Education
Responsibilities
Teach a reduced load (two sections in year one, three sections in year two) while completing graduate coursework
Engage with Milton’s residential life community and co-curricular and/or athletics programs
Be mentored by an experienced member of the faculty in their department
Collaborate with a cohort of Penn Fellows to share and strategize about successes and challenges
Qualification
Required
Participation in the Independent School Teaching Residency master's program in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education
Aspiring and early-career teachers
Ability to teach a reduced load (two sections in year one, three sections in year two)
Engagement with Milton's residential life community and co-curricular and/or athletics programs
Mentorship by an experienced member of the faculty in their department
Completion of an online application to the UPenn Graduate School of Education no later than May 1
