KIP Summer 2026 - Policy Intern - The Buckeye Institute

Stand Together is offering the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid, 12-week experiential learning opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students at The Buckeye Institute, located in Columbus, Ohio. Interns will assist with policy and legal research, communications, and outreach, gaining valuable skills for a career in public policy or research institutions.

Responsibilities

Interns will assist Buckeye in its daily operations, including policy and legal research, communications, administrative support, and outreach
The internship will provide real-world experience at one of Ohio’s leading think tanks by partnering interns with our professional staff and will provide exposure to the proceedings of the Ohio legislature

Required

Eligible candidates will be geographically located within the U.S
Authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Available every Thursday from 1-3:30 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Available for the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Demonstrate academic excellence
