Responsibilities
An SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) professional designs, configures, and implements cloud-based supply chain planning solutions, focusing on modules like Demand, S&OP, Response & Supply, and Inventory along with experience in SYPP & Network Planning. They map business processes, analyze data, and optimize supply chain performance. Roles typically require 10+ years of experience in SAP SCM, strong configuration skills, and expertise in integrating IBP with S/4HANA
System Configuration & Design: Configure SAP IBP modules (Demand, S&OP, Supply, Inventory, Control Tower) based on business requirements. Experience in Network Planning & Synchronous Planning (SYPP) will be advantageous
Functional Expertise: Develop and maintain planning areas, key figures, master data types, and time profiles
Integration: Utilize CPI-DS/Data Services to integrate IBP with external systems
Process Optimization: Analyze "as-is" and "to-be" supply chain processes to improve planning accuracy and efficiency
Project Support & Testing: Lead functional design workshops, create functional specifications, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Troubleshooting: Monitor performance, resolve system issues, and handle quarterly upgrades
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP IBP configuration and data integration (CPI-DS/HCI)
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Planning, and S&OP processes
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in SAP SCM
Strong configuration skills in SAP IBP
Expertise in integrating IBP with S/4HANA
Experience in configuring SAP IBP modules (Demand, S&OP, Supply, Inventory, Control Tower)
Experience in Network Planning & Synchronous Planning (SYPP)
Ability to develop and maintain planning areas, key figures, master data types, and time profiles
Utilization of CPI-DS/Data Services to integrate IBP with external systems
Ability to analyze 'as-is' and 'to-be' supply chain processes
Experience in leading functional design workshops
Ability to create functional specifications
Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
