Project Manager, PROSTATE CANCER UK
Prostate Cancer UK is the largest men’s health charity in the UK, dedicated to tackling health inequalities and improving outcomes for Black men facing prostate cancer. The Project Manager will lead an innovative pilot project aimed at addressing late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men by coordinating community efforts and building partnerships across healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities
Lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men
Shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis
Coordinate the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer
Establish a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships
Work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders to build trust and drive practical improvements
Manage timelines, budgets and reporting impact
Qualification
Required
Experience designing or delivering community-based health projects
Confidence working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships
Strategic thinking
Ability to turn insight into action
Communication skills to engage, influence and inspire
Comfort managing timelines, budgets and reporting impact
Strong understanding of public health, health equity or programme management
Championing inclusion, cultural sensitivity and values in all actions
Living within, or no more than 30 minutes from, specified NHS Health Trust areas
