Coordinates all project efforts in order to ensure effective execution
Prepares strategic plans
Serves as primary client liaison
Qualification
Required
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
Licensed Architect (California license strongly preferred; NCARB with reciprocity considered)
20+ years of professional experience, with a focus on laboratory facilities
Demonstrated experience in science and research projects
Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with BIM coordination workflows
Strong organizational, communications (verbal, written as well as hand sketching) skills, and leadership abilities are required
In-depth understanding of building codes and their application to R&D Lab projects
Understanding of building materials, systems, and methods of construction and specifications
Understanding of integration of building services, building core, and envelope elements
Experience leading ‘warm-shell' interior fit-out projects working alongside a core & shell/developer team
Comfort working in a fast paced, collaborative project environment including ground-up and Tenant Improvement projects
