Grant Analyst

Responsibilities

Assist with all financial reporting activities for eligible tax credit and grant programs, including invoicing, analysis, and reporting
Review projects for qualifying grant reimbursements
Prepare and review monthly charges to workforce development grants
Prepare and submit monthly grant invoice submissions with supporting documentation
Record monthly accruals for expected grant reimbursements and tax credits
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for tax credits and grants
Reconcile wage and tax registers to payroll and timesheets on a quarterly basis
Prepare annual tax credit submissions for internal review and auditor submission
Compile annual compliance and financial reports for state submission
Generate monthly internal financial status reports for senior management
Support internal and external audit requests
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA Preferred)
35 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial reporting or grant/tax credit programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective oral and written communication abilities
Solid understanding of operational and financial accounting principles
Ability to work collaboratively with finance team members and senior leadership
Strong Excel Skills
