Quality Engineer Intern, Quality Operations

Responsibilities
Assist quality engineers on optimizing manufacturing processes and controls to be used to support production
Work with engineers and technicians to introduce new equipment to optimize quality inspection processes
Work with production and engineers on manufacturing process instruction improvements
Implement a digitalization tracking tool to optimize trending of NCR metrics and data
Support issue resolution for production and assembly including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking
Qualification
Required
Currently have or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field (e.g. Bioengineering, Material Engineering, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) & a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong understanding of engineering principals
Strong analytical and statistical knowledge
Knowledge in data querying and manipulation a plus
Strong organizational skills: management of multiple priorities and timing
Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, and partnership with other departments
