Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional sales teams, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture
Build and execute strategic sales plans that drive sustained revenue growth, margin improvement, and market share expansion within the automotive segment
Provide strong leadership in identifying new business opportunities and converting them into scalable commercial wins
Lead market intelligence initiatives to anticipate automotive industry trends, customer needs, competitive threats, and emerging technologies
Serve as a trusted advisor to key automotive customers, gaining deep insight into their production challenges and aligning Siemens solutions to high‑value outcomes
Strengthen relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, regional sales organizations, marketing, and execution teams
Collaborate closely with global business lines, product management, and go‑to‑market teams to ensure alignment between sales execution and Siemens’ technology portfolio
Translate customer insights into actionable business requirements that shape product positioning and future portfolio strategy
Lead commercial assessments for major opportunities and coordinate internal stakeholders through the full sales cycle
Monitor and manage key financial KPIs including order intake, revenue, and profitability
Drive strategic pricing, marketing, and research initiatives that strengthen Siemens’ competitive position in the automotive automation ecosystem
Partner with business unit leadership to ensure cohesive strategy development and operational execution

Required

10+ years leading high‑performing sales teams within industrial automation, manufacturing technology, or automotive solutions
5+ years selling IT/OT, automation, or digitalization solutions selling specifically aligned to automotive production environments
Demonstrated track record of identifying growth opportunities and turning them into commercialized solutions
Strong understanding of automotive go‑to‑market strategy, competitive positioning, and value‑based selling
Exceptional ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate with senior executives across complex customer organizations
Proven capability in using analytics and structured problem‑solving to define strategy and improve business outcomes
Consistent ability to deliver results in fast‑paced, competitive, and highly dynamic customer environments
Strong commitment to developing sales talent through coaching, mentorship, and continuous learning
Confident, decisive leader capable of setting direction and making strategic calls in ambiguous situations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred location: Michigan (1–2 days in office)
Open to remote candidates with up to 50% travel to customer sites
