Inventory & Logistics Manager

Redwire is a company specializing in defense technology, seeking an Inventory & Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all inventory operations. This role involves coordinating activities within the inventory cage, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with regulations, and optimizing inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize inventory management processes and procedures
Oversee kitting operations and ensure accuracy of inventory transactions
Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure vendor compliance and proper handling of incoming materials
Work with Procurement to maintain timely availability of parts and materials to support production needs
Lead and mentor the inventory team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices
Ensure all inventory activities comply with government regulations, including security, safety, and environmental requirements
Utilize inventory management software and other technologies to enhance accuracy, traceability, and efficiency of inventory operations
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Required

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in inventory management
Strong knowledge working within corporate ERP/MRP systems
Strong knowledge of export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR as they relate to inventory and material handling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Quality, Procurement, Production, Engineering)
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities

Preferred

Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field
APICS/ASCM CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification
Prior experience working within AS9100, ISO 9001, or other aerospace/defense quality management systems
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
