Responsibilities
Develop and run Credit Programs
Financial Product Innovation: In conjunction with the broader team, you will identify the best products suitable for a new or existing partner and build the business case to bring it to market. You will then work with the technical teams to make it available to our prospective customers
Credit Policy Development: Every partner deserves a customized solution tailored to their particular needs. You will partner closely with our data science team to incorporate insights about the partners data sources and customer population into a credit policy that will meet our collective goals
Manual Underwriting: Ideally all of our applicants will be handled by our automated systems and processes, but realistically we will always have a few that require manual intervention. You will work with the established policies for manual underwriting to make decisions as necessary and contribute to future iterations of our manual underwriting policies
Continuous Monitoring: You will own the monitoring for your partners and work with others on the team to enhance the automation and insights generated through the process. You will work with other partners as necessary to fix potential problems and overall improve the process
Continuous Testing: You will own the testing agenda for your partners and develop and run various types of tests (marketing/underwriting/etc.) as necessary to drive our collective team goals as necessary

Contribute to various high-impact data science and product workstreams
Support critical data science work streams currently underway
Prioritize data science work streams and timelines
Identify and drive independent research that can help us move faster
Support testing of our products including onboarding prospects onto our application
Qualification
Required
Quantitative degree (Math, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration)
2+ years working experiences as a credit, business or operations analyst
2+ years experience in developing and recommending strategies using quantitative methods
Keen ability to frame business decisions and tradeoffs effectively through quantitative analysis and visualization
Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and work effectively across teams
Preferred
Experience with lending products
1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
Fintech / start up experience
Experience with working with SMBs
Proficiency with Python
