Responsibilities

Develop and implement a recreational program designed to stimulate mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs and interests of assigned residents
Coordinate staff and volunteers to successfully carry out facility Mission Statement and department goals to meet the individual recreational needs of our resident population
Provide assistance in dining room during meals as needed

Qualification

National Provider BLSRecreational TherapyElderly Care ExperienceTeam CoordinationCommunication Skills

Required

Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
1 year of work experience providing care with the elderly or disabled

Preferred

Higher education in Recreational Therapy or related field
