Family Office Wealth Advisor

The Wealth Advisor/Portfolio Manager will deliver personalized solutions, manage investment portfolios, and collaborate with families to meet their financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Leading a multi-disciplinary team to serve the needs of our clients. Providing expert investment advice, leveraging deep knowledge of various asset classes, investment vehicles, and market trends
Collaborating with Operating Partner Families to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance and values. Developing and implementing tailored wealth plans, integrating investment management, income tax planning and estate planning strategies
Constructing and managing highly customized investment portfolios aligned with each family’s unique goals, risk profile and values. Foster a culture of transparency, trust and collaboration within the family, promoting responsible wealth management and service
Monitoring and managing existing investments to ensure compliance with the terms of the investments and with client investment policy statements. Staying informed about market development, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to optimize investment strategies
Participating in the Portfolio initiatives that evaluate and improve the asset allocation process of the firm’s investment committee, including conducting research into new alternative investment strategies. Offering guidance on income tax planning, ensuring families minimize liabilities and maximize after-tax wealth
Utilizing relationships with general partners and other investment professionals to monitor fund developments; designing reports to track markets, investments, and other activities; and assisting in developing agendas for investment conferences and other events
Performing related assignments or special projects as may be required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a BA/BS degree
CFA, CPWA or CAIA accredited certifications are required
Highly motivated and have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
5+ years of experience in finance, preferably at a private investment firm, investment advisory firm, or investment research consultant
Demonstrated skills interfacing with clients and a passion for improving their lives
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to succinctly explain complex ideas
Ability to multitask, thrive, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Extraordinary organizational and project management skills

Graduate degree preferred, not required
