Sourcing Specialist (Temporary)
The American Diabetes Association is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This role will provide strategic support in attracting top talent and coordinating with the TA team and Hiring Managers to fill open roles.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the TA team and Hiring Managers to obtain information on open roles to effectively understand the job requirements
Write effective job adverts and post them on various job boards
Formulate and execute innovative recruitment sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates
Headhunt candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) using keyword searches
Create pipelines of qualified applicants ahead of need to meet the needs of the organization
Actively contact relevant prospective candidates to tell them about open roles, then schedule informational calls to determine if they are qualified
Review resumes and pre-screen incoming applicants for open roles
Schedule and conduct interviews with potential new candidates
Participates in virtual and in-person hiring events as needed
Communicate with candidates going through the recruitment process to keep them engaged and interested by providing regular updates on the progress of their application
Liaise with the TA team to initiate background checks to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
Ensure timely communication with candidates, Hiring Managers, and TA/HR colleagues
Educate candidates about the ADA, our culture, benefits and expectations of the organization
Stay abreast of industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitive intelligence to help inform recruitment strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience and education
At least 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience
Expertise in sourcing passive candidates via talent communities, career sites, etc
Experience with an ATS required; Paychex or UKG preferred
Full-cycle recruitment knowledge including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Ability to build relationships, communicate and work independently in a remote work environment
Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire others
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience with an ATS preferred; Paychex or UKG preferred
