Responsibilities
Perform inspections of various composite structures in support of production; evaluation and interpretation of indications for Engineering in an expeditious time frame to allow rapid MRB response and disposition
Write technique sheets, procedures, including SWI and EWIs, and reports, as required
Assist with the design, fabrication & qualification of defect standards
Perform instrument & system calibrations; support internal and external audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other STEM field
Completed coursework in NDI and knowledge of NDI practices
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain special program access
Preferred
Multiple Level II/III ASNT certifications
Experience performing the inspection and analysis of complex structures
