K-Designers is seeking a Permit Coordinator to manage the permitting process for various projects while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills and effective communication with clients, contractors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities
Permit Application Management: Prepare, submit , and track permit applications for construction, environmental, and other regulatory approvals
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal permitting regulations and ensure all projects comply with these standards
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding permitting issues
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all permits, correspondence, and project documentation in an organized manner
Follow-Up: Monitor the status of permit applications and follow up with relevant agencies to expedite processing
Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on the status of permits and any potential issues that may arise
Training and Support: Assist in training staff on permitting processes and best practices
Qualification
Required
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with construction practices and terminology
Experience with environmental regulations and compliance
Certification or training related to permitting or project management
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permit management software
Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, construction management, urban planning) is preferred
Previous experience in permit coordination or a related role
