Responsibilities

Work with engineers, product managers, and product designers to create clear, customer-facing documentation for Metabase
Collaborate with our Success Engineers to understand how customers think and develop best practices, guides, and tutorials to address customer needs
Become a product expert, test new features, and provide product feedback

Required

3+ years of experience writing docs for technical audiences in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields
Technical expertise in data science or data engineering - you'll be expected to be a product and domain expert
Strong SQL skills
Solid understanding of database concepts and data landscape
Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Markdown, and Git

Preferred

Experience with API and SDK documentation
Familiarity with Python or JavaScript
Strong opinions about docs tooling
