Responsibilities

Daily monitoring of accounts receivable and billing audit reports to include billing notes, orders management; face to face process, and unverified visits
Effectively communicate with program leadership to inform of progress toward timely collections as well as constraints, barriers and bottlenecks
Research bottlenecks, constraints and barriers and works with program leadership to quickly find solutions
Monitors insurance approval/denial trends and makes recommendations to program leadership on areas for improvement
Demonstrates a clear understanding of the various practice and health facility management systems applicable to the work assignment
Demonstrates knowledge of regulations, leading to effective collections through compliance with Conditions of Participation for timely payment
Effectively train and educate staff, including program leadership on new processes, changing regulations and new processes to resolve barriers, constraints and bottlenecks
Follows HCA Ethics and Compliance policies. Adheres to the HCA Code of Conduct. Understands the personal obligation to report any activity that appears to violate applicable laws, rules, regulations or the Code of Conduct itself

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Health Administration, or related field
3+ years of progressive experience in a business / finance setting

Preferred

Master's Degree
Previous experience in home health and/or hospice setting
