Responsibilities
Lead and support end-to-end D365 Finance & Operations implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
Act as a functional subject matter expert for one or more D365 F&O modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Retail, Project Operations)
Conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into functional design documents (FDDs)
Configure D365 F&O modules in accordance with business needs and Microsoft best practices
Collaborate closely with technical consultants and developers to support customizations, integrations, and data migrations
Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation, defect triage, and resolution
Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations
Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data standards
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering guidance on system capabilities and process optimization
Qualification
Required
5+ Years of proven experience as a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant
Strong hands-on experience with at least one core D365 F&O module (Finance, SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, etc.)
Solid understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional dependencies
Experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations
Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional system designs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 Finance/Supply Chain highly desirable
Experience with associated tools and technologies such as SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform are highly desirable
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Proven demonstration and presentation skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and presentation capabilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Client-focused mindset with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Finance, Supply Chain, or related)
Experience with data migration, integrations, and reporting (Power BI is a plus)
Consulting background or experience working in a client-facing environment
Industry experience (e.g., manufacturing, retail, public sector, energy, financial services)
Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or global implementations
