Responsibilities
Address concerns related to the ever-evolving cyber threats, attacks, scams and breaches of data, while providing practical guidance on steps to take to avoid them
Act as a cybersecurity advisor to UHNW individuals, families, and businesses providing strategic advice and education on cybersecurity protections and risk reduction
Provide 1-on-1 training and interactive sessions for individuals, families, businesses employees through workshops and small groups—both virtually and in person
Develop and publish cybersecurity educational materials, tip sheets, and white papers to help individuals and businesses better protect themselves
Stay ahead of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to ensure delivery of timely and best-in-class advice to clients
Qualification
Required
Expert-level knowledge across multiple cybersecurity and technology domains (e.g. Cloud, AI, incident response, governance, risk, and compliance), as well as a good understanding of the implications of technologies such as AI, quantum computing, cryptography on personal and enterprise cybersecurity, as well as the strategic outlook
Experience speaking to large audiences and small groups, teaching concepts
Executive-level writing and communication skills and expertise in translating complex technical topics to various audiences
Background in Financial Services and familiarity with Wealth Management products and structures (e.g., private banking, family offices, etc.)
Sensitivity / experience with wealth management clients and needs
Strong understanding of cyber risk management operational practices, policies, procedures and guidelines
Strong diplomatic skills (emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and tact with client relationships) and ability to develop trust with bankers, advisors, and market leadership
Industry recognized information security certification (e.g. CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP) or equivalent degree or certification desirable
Knowledge of and experience working with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST, CSF, ISO 27001)
Min 10+ years Cyber and related tech experience; engineering and technology architecture experience preferred
Ability to partner closely with business partners including but not limited to members of the integrated team, partners in the business, and external clients
Ability to direct, manage and coach junior talent
Strong self-motivator with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, teaching experience a plus, as well as strong written skills, with contribution to thought leadership and cyber content
Creative problem-solving abilities that generate new ideas and can adjust to meet changing needs
Strong leadership and clear judgment in addition to being a strong influencer and facilitator
Proactive, accountable and detail oriented work ethic
Willingness to travel (US domestic / international) as needed (40%)
