Business Deposits & Treasury Manager

Kirtland Credit Union is a financial institution dedicated to helping employees learn and grow in their careers. They are seeking a Business Deposits & Treasury Manager to oversee the Business & Treasury team, develop training for retail branch staff, and manage complex commercial deposit account relationships.

Banking

Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of the Business Deposit & Treasury Department and staff to include overseeing account opening as needed
Opens, monitors, maintains and services business accounts as needed. Monitors accounts for kiting activity or any other unusual activity
Provides an analysis and proposal to potential KCU members of what we offer vs what they currently have
Monitors monthly fees charged to businesses and assess needs to change the fee structure to the VP of Business Services
Works with the Sr. Loan Portfolio Manager to provide monthly reports on growth for the deposit portfolio, Business Services penetration from internal offerings and external vendors and fee income growth month over Month
Assumes responsibility for the effective administration of Business Services functions
Monitors and evaluates work quality, efficiency, and productivity. Ensures that completed work is of the highest quality. Provides suggestions for improved service delivery and business deposit portfolio management. Seeks new methods to accomplish departmental tasks
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Credit Union personnel and with management
Effectively supervises Department personnel, ensuring optimal performance
Ensures that personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally utilized. Identifies training needs and develops appropriate training programs. Conducts training sessions and cross-trains as appropriate
Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations exist with members and business professionals
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
College degree in business, finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience required
Three to Five years prior experience in commercial and business deposits and products
Supervisory experience required
Experience working and maintaining 3rd party vendor relationships is required
Thorough knowledge of business account services and procedures
Familiarity with commercial and business loan programs
Thorough knowledge of treasury products and services
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Accurate and attentive to detail
Well organized
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to assist others
Strong ability to present and speak in front of a group
