Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Video team to gather test automation needs
Build, document, and maintain an end-to-end testing framework
Identify application weaknesses and review bug reports to highlight problem areas and opportunities for new testing
Define, apply & maintain effective automation design standards and practices with the objectives of maximizing reusability and maintainability
Escalate critical bugs and work with developers to prioritize fixes
Create and maintain test & engineering documentation
Qualification
Required
Professional experience testing video streaming applications (e.g., live video, VOD, WebRTC, RTMP, HLS)
Experience with live video protocols (e.g., RTMP, HLS, WebRTC)
Experience testing applications both manually and with automation
Deploying and utilizing testing frameworks
Fully owning all projects you take on or that are assigned to you, working independently with little to no assistance from other team members
A passion for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and finding bugs
