Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share within the Minnesota and Iowa territory
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with schools, municipalities, universities, contractors, architects, and sports organizations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry partners
Collaborate with internal estimating, project management, and operations teams to support successful project execution
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM updates
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regional opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years of business development or outside sales experience, preferably in construction, athletic facilities, sports surfaces, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
