Responsibilities
Interpreting drawings/blueprints
Executing process control plans
Producing fixtures
Selecting tooling, speeds and feeds appropriate to a part’s dimensional tolerances and raw material
Setting-up machines with tooling
Troubleshooting programs
Producing a First Piece
Selecting appropriate inspection tools and training operators on proper loading, production, and inspection of parts
Operate machines
Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Four years related Aerospace industry experience
Ability to complete machining operation from set-up to finish (operate, inspect, and troubleshoot)
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Advanced math knowledge
Preferred
Experience in an AS9100 environment
Experience with Haas, DMG, Brother, and Fanuc controlled CNC Vertical Machining Centers
