Responsibilities
Implement in-school and after-school programs, projects, and events
Tutor and/or mentor students
Facilitate enrichment activities using effective instructional techniques
Create and maintain safe, respectful and encouraging learning environments
Ensure appropriate materials and supplies are available for all programs
Actively participate in daily team debriefs
Thoughtfully complete feedback and observation notes
Assist in collecting, checking, recording and analyzing related data, as directed
Greet, steward and purposefully deploy volunteers and partners
Engage professionally with teachers and families
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company spaces and school-based learning environments
Work with senior leaders to coordinate and/or manage programs, projects and events, as directed
Provide administrative support for NCCP in-school and after school programs, projects and events
Support all in-school, after hours and extended day community school activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Maintain a valid driver's license
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse groups in a high-energy work environment
Moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be able to remain in a stationary or mobile position, as the shift demands
Preferred
Two-year or four-year college degree
Bilingual Spanish/English skills
Previous experience working with children in an academically-focused environment
Previous experience in classroom management and demonstrated instructional expertise
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
