Administrative Assistant- Tax & Audit) Part-Time
Wegmann Dazet is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support their team in Metairie. The role involves various administrative duties including assisting with tax returns, processing financial statements, and providing support to the HR Generalist and Controller.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Assist the Administrative team with all administrative duties as needed including but not limited to the following:
Order supplies as needed
Type letters, memos, etc
Assist with Tax Returns and extensions (Individual, Partnership, Fiduciary, Corporation, Gift Tax, Estate Tax and Miscellaneous)
Processing Financial Statements through DocuSign for partner signatures and tracking
Assisting with Partner billing
CPE items including registering Staff for CPE classes, enrolling online for LCPA and AICPA, tracking CPE hours for each employee and compiling reports of CPE
Assist with daily mail, certified mail
Assist the HR Generalist and Controller with various duties as needed including preparing for employee events, order supplies, assisting the day of an event, new hire items, running reports, etc
Receptionist relief when needed
Setup cubicles and new hire binders for new employees
Clean out and box up paperwork at cubicles of terminated employees
Qualification
