Program Coordinator - Onsite (NIH)

Responsibilities
Provides on-site, high-level administrative support to coordinate programmatic activities for the NIAID’s comprehensive research priorities and portfolio
Schedules scientific and strategic meetings
Coordinates complex calendars
Prepares technical documents
Manages correspondence and develops presentation materials
Coordinates travel and procurement requests
Provides publication support for preparing manuscripts and facilitates journal submissions
Other duties as assigned
This position is located onsite at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland
Qualification
Required
Possession of a high school diploma. Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
In addition to the education requirement, a minimum of five (5) years of related administrative support experience
Strong communication skills
Must be proactive and able to prioritize and manage competing tasks
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
Experience coordinating scientific meetings
Experience scheduling domestic and foreign travel
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and other government regulations, policies, and procedures
Experience interacting with high-level government officials
Experience drafting vendor justifications and reviewing vendor invoices
