HR/Legal Operations Specialist
Ilumed Llc is a value-based care organization participating in CMS ACO REACH and MSSP programs. The Legal & HR Operations Specialist provides operational and administrative support across the Legal, Human Resources, and Compliance functions, coordinating contracts and compliance documentation while managing employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities
Manages the end-to-end coordination of Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and HIPAA-related documentation, including intake, tracking, execution, renewals, and proper disposition
Draft, update, and maintain standard contract templates (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, participation addenda) using approved language for counsel review
Manage contract workflows across Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations, ensuring timely reviews, execution, and renewal tracking
Maintain organized, auditable repositories for legal, compliance, and contract documentation with appropriate confidentiality and access controls
Support CMS, CMMI, and regulatory documentation related to ACO REACH and MSSP participation under direction of counsel
Track and manage deadlines for contracts, attestations, certifications, and regulatory deliverables
Support audits, information requests, and due diligence activities by coordinating inputs and responses across functions
Lead resume screening against defined job criteria and provide qualified candidate shortlists to HR and hiring managers
Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring logistics
Project-manage onboarding and offboarding workflows, including documentation, system access, equipment coordination, and notifications
Maintain accurate employee and applicant records across HRIS, ATS, and document management systems
Serve as a point of escalation for managers and employees regarding HR systems navigation and process-related questions
Act as a project manager for cross-functional initiatives spanning HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, Payroll, Finance, and Operations
Develop and maintain trackers, timelines, and status reporting for contracts, onboarding, audits, and compliance initiatives
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies; proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution
Support development, updates, and rollout of policies, procedures, and internal compliance materials
Recommend and assist with implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
Qualification
Required
Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through, including deadline and dependency tracking
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy in regulated environments
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps, risks, and process improvements
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including professional drafting and stakeholder communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to create trackers, dashboards, and executive-ready summaries
Comfort working across multiple enterprise systems
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues appropriately
High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
Bachelor's degree required
5–8 years of experience in legal operations, HR operations, compliance support, project management, or related roles
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and timelines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (Business, Legal Studies, HR, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
Experience in healthcare, value-based care, or other regulated industries strongly preferred
