Be the primary role model for a group of campers, grades K through 5
Create a safe, supportive environment for campers
Plan, organize and supervise fun and stimulating activities
Set clear, consistent limits and resolve behavioral challenges with help from supervisors
Take on additional responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year as an educator
Knowledge and ability to explain and facilitate age-appropriate dance and choreography for elementary school-aged campers
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
Passions for dance, informal education and youth programs
Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
Must have enthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to improvise a must
Must be actively engaged in dance programming with the campers
Preferred
Knowledge of summer camps preferred
