Responsibilities
Provides legal guidance across all key Stellarus functions, working with senior business leaders across: Product, AI and Development, Operations, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, commercial contracts, and general corporate law guidance to the company's leadership team
Assist in other substantive legal areas and work with the company's leadership team, CLO, Privacy and Compliance and outside counsel on as needed
Provide thoughtful, creative and timely legal advice to various Stellarus business units
Work collaboratively with a broad range of leaders and functions, developing and maintaining strong relationships between the Stellarus Law Department, Stellarus business and technology leaders and across the Ascendiun Family of Companies’ legal teams
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing
Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or with a law firm
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Strong understanding of corporate law and governance issues
Ability to provide legal guidance across various business functions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry
Familiarity with privacy and compliance regulations
Experience advising on strategic partnerships and alliances
Demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to think creatively and provide innovative legal solutions
