Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning
Partner with business leaders to gather assumptions, inputs, and financial data for planning models
Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities
Serve as a trusted finance partner by providing analytical support for strategic initiatives
Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to evaluate business decisions
Build financial models and business cases for investments, new initiatives, pricing strategies, and capital allocation
Support M&A, integration, and other strategic transactions as needed
Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and recurring management reporting
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership
Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations in a clear, decision-oriented manner
Ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting across business units
Build, enhance, and maintain complex forecasting, valuation, and scenario models
Perform detailed variance analysis and data-driven investigations to explain financial performance
Leverage financial systems and analytical tools to improve forecasting accuracy and insight generation
Serve as an administrator for ERP and financial planning systems, ensuring data integrity and usability
Support system implementations, upgrades, and process automation efforts
Partner with IT and accounting teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize financial workflows
Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, timelines, scalability, and reporting quality
Collaborate with accounting to support month-end close, including variance analysis and revenue recognition alignment
Ensure accurate and timely financial data flow between accounting and FP&A systems
Apply accounting knowledge to validate results and strengthen reporting outputs
Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, sales, marketing, and other business functions
Build strong relationships with senior leaders and serve as a key financial advisor
Communicate financial assumptions, risks, and recommendations effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related roles
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and financial planning methodologies
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI and automation tools is a plus
Experience with ERP and financial planning platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Adaptive Insights)
Solid accounting foundation with exposure to month-end close and financial statement preparation
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other professional certifications preferred
