Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while adhering to deadlines
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases
Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies
Qualification
Required
A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
At least four (4) years of prior civil litigation experience
Experience in both New Jersey state and federal courts
Strong advocacy skills
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests
Experience in taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Preferred
4-7 years of civil litigation experience
