Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and administration
Drive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction (CSI) across all departments
Develop, coach, and hold accountable department leaders to achieve performance goals
Establish and execute strategic plans aligned with dealership and group objectives
Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators
Analyze market trends, competition, and operational data to inform decision-making
Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and employee retention
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintain the dealership’s reputation for excellence in customer experience and community presence

Required

Minimum 5+ years of automotive dealership leadership experience, with prior General Manager, General Sales Manager, or Fixed Operations Director experience
Proven track record of driving profitability, volume growth, and CSI improvement
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing management teams
Strong working knowledge of Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance operations
Financially driven leader with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and KPIs
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to drive results
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to set expectations, hold leaders accountable, and execute initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Preferred

Experience in a multi-store or dealer group environment preferred
