Responsibilities
Actively represent clients in courtroom hearings and argue cases before the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court
Draft motions, review medical records, and analyze employment documentation to build a sound case strategy
Regularly update clients on case developments and offer strategic advice
Consult with colleagues on complex claims and discuss legal updates and procedural best practices
Manage caseload independently and meet filing deadlines
Participate in negotiations
Qualification
Required
J.D. and Rhode Island bar admission (in good standing)
1-5 years' experience in workers' compensation
Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle hearings independently
Exceptional time-management abilities and a proven capacity to adjust seamlessly to changing priorities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional judgment and a commitment to high-quality client service
