The role involves collaborating with the IT Financial Systems team, assisting in the design and maintenance of financial system applications, and troubleshooting production issues using SQL and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience with financial business processes by collaborating closely with the IT Financial Systems team
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Financial System application by leveraging SQL and PL/SQL skills
Work closely with senior developers and database administrators to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve day to day Production issues using SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
Document processes and create design documents that explain technical changes
Qualification
Required
Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2027 (summer between Junior & Senior year)
Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks and commute to our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA
Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems/MIS, Data Science, Financial Technology, or a related tech or fintech field
Fundamental understanding of relational databases and proficiency in writing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts
Familiarity with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
Eager to learn, adaptable, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of business users and team members
Preferred
Any past finance experiences or knowledge would be a plus
